[ emotionshare might be over, but they won't need it to know that kazuki is happy to see them. he lights up. ]
Good morning, guys. What do you think of the music here? It's good, right?
[ he's in his element fuck yea linkin park ]

[Kaveh is here!! He looks like he maybe didn't get very much sleep, but it's fine. It's not like the weekend was traumatic or anything.
He is, at least, happy to see Kazuki! He does indeed arrive with Nahida and he greets Kazuki with a little wave, looking around with curiosity.]
Is this the kind of music you play?

Yep - we call it rock music. It can be a challenge to play, but it's worth it, once you get a song down.
Also, just a fair warning - there are mimes in the cafe. We should probably ignore them.

I haven't either. I've heard about a similar style, but I never got to hear it myself.
[Xinyan never came to Sumeru...
But also--????]
"Mimes"?

Isshiki-san's music is some of the best I've ever heard. If I could, I'd let you guys listen in a heartbeat. A recording isn't the same as a live show, but he's amazing no matter what.
[ there's just sheer delight on his face at getting to hype up isshiki. he loves that guy. ]
...Ah. They're these, uh... [ how does one explain. a mime. hm. ] ...Actually, if we go in, you'll see. It's technically a type of performance, it's just. Weird.

[Aww, cute. Kaveh smiles to hear him talk.]
It's a shame we haven't gotten access to a shop with instruments yet. I wonder if we will?
[Also, Kaveh looks a little confused because he generally likes performances--but Kazuki is a performer, so Kaveh trusts his judgment?? He looks at Nahida and shrugs. LEAD THE WAY, KAZUKI.]

If we do, I'll play one of his songs for you guys. I... guess I could now, but electric guitar isn't the same when you don't have the right equipment.
[ into the cafe! and kazuki just. nods. ]
Told you it's weird.

[Kaveh tilts his head in the exact same way Nahida does, because I think it's funny if they look the same]
What are they... doing?
What are they... doing?
[ these two are so cute shakes ]
This is how they perform. No talking, no props, just acting things out.

[They are doing their very best]
It's kind of interesting, if you think about it. A lot of actors rely on their ability to tell a story through dialogue. Taking that away adds a new element to it.
[What story is being told here, though... that, he's not sure about.......]

See? [ GESTURES. ] This is why no one likes mimes.
Definitely. But hey, at least the food here looks decent? Do you guys like croissants?
[crassant]
That's a pastry, isn't it? I think they have something like that in Fontaine. [makes executive decisions] Sure, I'll take one.

[ crassants! ]
Like a flaky butter pastry? It's not bad. [ off to order! ] Fontaine... I wonder if that's a similar thing to Japan and Inazuma. I don't know much about France, though.

[He's still like half-watching the mime out of concern]
I wonder if there are any books on it in the library?
