It's very powerful. See, Mother's son got mixed up with this horrible goose monster called...the Gander. And the Gander gave him three wishes and he used them all up to get rich and then when his wishes were up, he died.
But Mother made a wish for the power to save his son, and the Gander gave him a magical book. And the book has the power to save all of our stories. We can be preserved in his book, or he can use his book to change us. And also, we can reach other people who have similar books in other realms, like Aesop and Scheherazade!
So with this, we might be able to put everyone's story in here and save them from erasure.
[this sounds like the kind of thing that might actually happen during a genshin event so nahida continues to look and feel intrigued. hmm.]

Um...well, it usually was him doing it. But if you put someone's blood or their body or an object belonging to them in the book it would just sort of pull them in.
