... Not at all. You could argue that they might not even exist.

Mm... not really—I go to pray at the nearby shrine all the time. But there's a lot of people out there who don't think so.

I guess... if your world's gods don't make themselves known to people, it isn't surprising that they might not believe in them.

Yeah... You can't really prove whether they're out there or not.

It's strange to think about, but... I guess there are gods who prefer to remain a mystery.

Not just humans—a lot of living things are. But we kinda have to be.

It's still very impressive to see what all you do manage to accomplish, though. Humans are really such a marvel.

Is it? When you think about it, gods... didn't really give humans much to begin with. But humans took the limited knowledge we gave them, and built on it over time to create so many wondrous things.

I'd be more surprised if a god wasn't impressed by that.

It's just the truth as I see it.
