Your version of the internet? I feel like humans only dream more when they know of things beyond their understanding... Though I do mostly work with teenagers.
Its original function was to "compile everyone's wisdom in the name of the Archon". Dreams are full of human wisdom - sometimes, moreso than when people are awake.
But when I was in the Sanctuary of Surasthana, the Sages misused it... they began harvesting the people's dreams for the Jnana energy to power their own experiments. But they also put out the propaganda that discarding the irrational was a sign that people had truly grown up and were ready to take their places within the Nation of Wisdom... so, anyone who did dream didn't want to admit it, and people didn't question it when they ceased to dream.
[Huuh. This so interesting to her, but it's also so wild people are like this? It doesn't seem impossible to her that humans exist in this way... But also wild that their worlds' internet is that way.]
What a difficult position to be in. What kind of experiments were they trying to run with that kind of energy?

What do you think of this one? I preferred the sky.

[hmm]
But maybe it will just take a little getting used to.

Being adaptable is a good trait, but I can't imagine spending too much time down here personally.

They're songs of the Aranara.

Is that so? Is there some kind of disconnect between adults and the whimsical? That's not an uncommon bit of lore...

Although, that was partly because of the Akasha...
