You might receive a strange message on your phone at some point now that you've returned. I don't want it to come as a surprise to you if it does... and it's not something you'll need to worry about alone, either. I'll be glad to talk it over with you if you'd like. Of course, we don't have to do that until you've had time to rest and recover, either.
... Right... I've been meaning to ask ya about that. [ seems like he knows what she's talking about?? ] I know about last week's message, and I was wondering if ya could show me yours.
I'll show ya mine as soon as I get one. [ if he does. no need for recovery! ]
Of course. Here... I didn't think too much of it when I received it, since we did already know that this Game was based on another. But now that we seem to be hearing about more messages each week, it feels a little more relevant.
[she'll pull out her phone, then, and load up the text message on her screen before handing it over to him to read.]

Prepping for new Game. You will each need to volunteer one of your best Reapers temporarily for it. Up to you to decide who fits criteria of 'best.' Cannot give much info on setup, but it is based on that one Game from a few years back. You know the one. Comply with instructions ASAP.
[ this is definitely less alarming than last week's but livio is frowning at it ]
Yeah, this one seems.... fairly harmless. Last week's, though.... [ he is assuming she's seen it so he frowns ] The Reapers don't know anythin' about it, right?
[she'll wait to take her phone back until he's done what he needs to; once she has it, she crosses her arms.]
Last week's was... concerning, to say the least. I did ask the Reapers about it, but they didn't have much information themselves, although they did say they would ask their higher-ups.
[ he just takes a picture with his sad cracked phone and gives it back to her ]
... Guess we'll have to wait and see if the higher-ups have anything to say. But I wonder if it isn't someone tryin' to screw with the game, make things happen... people here are pretty reluctant to go after each other. I can see it bein' a way to try to force some hands.
Maybe. What strikes me as odd is that, if it really is something we're meant to be abiding by... wouldn't it have been included in the rulebook? It might have prompted more of us to pursue erasure as an option more quickly.
Now, though... we've caught the culprit each week. Statistically speaking, you are more likely to be erased as a result of having erased someone else than you are to be erased if you just keep your head down and don't make enemies.

Oh... there was something I wanted to give you a heads up about, though, if you feel up to it.

Sure. Go ahead.
