...I don't know. It's not something... it isn't something that would be easy to coordinate, I don't think. Everyone has their own reasons for not wanting to be erased.
And to plan something like that... the guilt for the person doing the erasing would be crushing, too.
I wish we had some idea of how many points are earned by these things.
Right. Like... there are a couple teams I think I'd trust with it, but for the same reasons that I'd be okay with it, I... don't think they would like it.
I guess not knowing the points is a big part of the game, though, considering they only ever give us the low end.
I think it's... intentional, to leave us all with that uncertainty. Knowing who is in last place doesn't do anything to reassure the people who are in the lead. If they want to ensure they have a lead, they'll need to continue to act, because... other than being in last or second to last place, they could fall anywhere on the list.
...this message also feels like it's only one part of a whole.
[she crosses her arms, thinking.]
Ideally... we should try to collect more informmation before we act rashly. Discussing it with the Reapers may not be a bad place to start, but I say that with the caveat that... it's possible there may not be much they can say. Their own higher-ups don't seem terribly communicative with them.
I only have a copy of the message I received. As for the others... I've heard some things, but I think this sort of thing is best discussed with the people who received them, if that makes sense?
I wouldn't want to misspeak because I misremembered something...
[he's just been a weenie about asking again in general since he's been assuming she didn't want to tell him hers, this week is killing me and also netzach.]
I definitely need to talk to Shu, and maybe the others I was with... no idea if we all just got the same one.
Shu showed me his, and it looked like yours. But... I'd double check, just to be sure. [she's insecure about her memory... since she doesn't have her connection to irminsul to double-check things.......] I might not be remembering it word for word.
I can show you mine, if you'd like, but it doesn't tell us much that we hadn't heard from the Reapers already - mostly, that this version of the Reaper's Game was based on another.
From the sound of it... the game this one was based on was unique enough for people to understand even a vague reference to it. Here...
[she'll pull up the text on her phone and offer it to him.]

Prepping for new Game. You will each need to volunteer one of your best Reapers temporarily for it. Up to you to decide who fits criteria of 'best.' Cannot give much info on setup, but it is based on that one Game from a few years back. You know the one. Comply with instructions ASAP.
[okay, well, he has one immediate thought which is]
It's kinda messed up that a couple of teenagers were included under 'best Reapers'. Not that I think they aren't good at their jobs, don't get me wrong, but who else do they even have working for them then?
As long as they made an informed decision, that's fine, but... I do think their bosses put them in an unenviable position by putting them in charge of us.

[it feels like the kind of thing that would happen, specifically because it sounds like Work. he's tired.]
I think I remember one of them telling me that-- something about this being longer than normal.

They're the only contacts we have, and we're bound to keep asking them questions they can't necessarily answer, over and over. It must be hard.

I don't really know what's useful to ask, anyway, so... I've just been talking to them about other stuff.
