Train takes six minutes to loop the tracks. It's too dark to see if there are any branching tunnels or potential other locations, and if you can't get to the Ikea stop before the train loops again you're in trouble.
If you know someone with a light pin variation, they might be able to brighten things up a bit for you to take a look around while you're on the train itself. But, from what I can tell, the underground is as closed off as above ground.
Thank you for telling me. I'll keep that in mind. In exchange... you've seen those things floating up in the sky, haven't you? It's possible to go up in one. You can get a good idea of what the city looks like from above if you do.
[ the price is because you have to carry that bed around with you like an emotional support blanket, i say as a tear runs down my face as i look for a new mattress and see the prices. ]
The logic behind what has a price tag and doesn’t is strange to me. You have to pay for a bed, but you could run off with a bookcase and no one can bat an eyelid.
Well, we likely won't be able to participate in their "game" if we're too hungry to move.
...I would argue that sleep deprivation would also make it difficult to participate, but perhaps they don't see that as an issue. Combine duress and a lack of sleep, and people are bound to make decisions they wouldn't otherwise. Maybe that's what they want.

If you haven't looked below ground much, then...

Ahh. They're not just floating advertising boards?

[she shrugs]
You can ride in them while they're advertising things.

Make some cash while you’re making cash. Then again, most of the stuff here seems to be free anyway.
[ … ]
Most of it.

The prices seem a little strange to me.
[IN WHAT UNIVERSE CAN YOU GET A WHOLE BED WITH MATTRESS AND BEDDING FOR $6. GOD I WISH I LIVED THERE.]

… Or they know people have to sleep, but don’t have to read. Still doesn’t explain why we can just walk off with food as we like though.

... I'd argue you can sleep anywhere if you have to though. Whoever's in charge might agree with me.

Still. All that aside, a roof over our heads that isn't stark white and full of other people [ IKEA ] would be the better option.

Right. Teams.
[ can you hear the enthusiasm, nahida? ]

It's the first task they've given us. Though, it may be a little more difficult for those who prefer to work alone...
no subject
Mm. Not a lot of leeway there.

[she gestures at the general space around them. ah, ikea.]
