For a really long time I thought he didn't want to see me again because he was mad that I broke my promise and didn't come to help him in the final round.
But... years later I looked through old news reports from that day and found out that one of the contestants was murdered, so I realized that must have been what really happened. That his father killed mine, and then... disappeared, I guess.
