Yes... Hikari was late coming back to our warehouse, so I asked him where he was. He was at the McDonald's with Rin. Shu and Kaveh came with me to go get him... I thought we could walk Rin back to his warehouse and then all go back together once we'd dropped him off so no one got caught alone.
Instead, we all got locked in at the McDonald's.

Erasing other Players on a Thursday night is a part of the Reaper's Game, allowed for in the rulebook. If it was one Player, picking another as their target... it makes some sense that we wouldn't be allowed to interfere, and that there would be something in place to prevent us from doing so.
I think it's a facet of the game. I don't think the Game is sentient or anything like that, but keeping us from interfering is likely built into how it runs the same way our not getting somewhere to sleep until we had formed teams was.
Ugh, if that's really what's happening...[ she drags a hand down her face before muttering to herself: ] Somehow this is so much better and so much worse than that stupid death trap island...
I've seen something like this before--the whole..."you're trapped with someone else and now you have to fight each other until there's only one person left standing" thing. Except that time was way less subtle. Just you and them and a bunch of booby traps trying to kill you.

...were you able to sleep at your warehouse last night? Or did you get stuck somewhere else?

Do you have any idea what happened?

I don't. We tried to get out that night, but... nothing worked. We couldn't even smash the windows. So then we tried barricading the door, but...

I'm starting to think whatever happened was planned.
