He was a serial killer. He had killed several people, and the detective was tracking him down. They found out it was him, so they arrested him. It must have been terrible for him to be trapped in that form having to do those things.
So I asked him to come to my shop, so he wouldn't have to worry about any of that.
I guess that makes sense... they could arrest someone who looked human, but it's not like they're going to put someone who looks more like an animal into jail...

Did changing his form make it so he didn't want to eat you anymore?

What has he been eating since we arrived here? The meat from McDonald's or IKEA?
Yes. I've tried to find him pieces of meat here and there from the places available, though I don't think he cares much for them like he would raw meat. He is such a picky eater.
