[she shakes her head although i'm hesitant to have her say this because i still have some threads actively going with members of that group so it might come up]
Not just yet, but...
[it sure was a busy weekend of a sword boyfriend dying and everyone scrambling to solve the murder]
I only heard about it secondhand, but... it sounds like it's more than just our own lives and our teams' at stake. A lot more. It's... [ a thread of fear, as he backtracks. ] I don't know how we're supposed to deal with that.
that's concerning. the thread of fear draws concern out of her, and she stops to think about it.]
...I'll look into it. But I think it's important to remember we may not have the whole picture yet. Perhaps what we find in the future will give us a better idea of how to address what's at stake.
I don't really want someone else to go through the things either of your groups did... but it seems like that's the only way we have to learn much about this place, when the reapers keep their cards so close to their chests.
[ true, he may not know anything about their experiences. no one's told him, but they don't have to explain everything for him to know it was awful. ]
[if she could - she would just do it herself every week to spare the others from having to go through it. but that's not how it works, even when you're someone with "self-sacrificial nonsense" as a skill.]
...but I don't see that we have any choice but to take information however we can get it. We'll just have to be prepared for the possibility that people may need help when they return, and act accordingly.
I know, I just... wish there was another way. I was thinking of asking for a first aid kit for that, though. You guys might be able to heal, but it seems like you can't do everything at once, right? So it won't hurt to have something else in reserve.
That's not a bad idea. If there are times when we need to treat an injury, but for whatever reason we can't heal it... [or if it's like. something they want to preserve in case of a trial but don't want to just let someone bleed out...] It's better to prepare for it just in case.
Just as long as no one's making you work too hard. Don't worry - unlike some people, I'll actually ask for help if I need it. I'm not going to hold off if there's no reason to.

...You heard about the message they got, right? The group from the egg.
