[whew, trials are a lot. nahida has decided she does not like them.

afterwards, she goes for a walk to clear her thoughts, and encounters kazuki on it. she'll head over to him, her expression concerned.]

[ uhhhhhhh well idk where the hell they are after All That but now that he's seen nahida shrink and knows it's her he'll cautiously approach her, as if trying not to startle her. ]

Did... They got you healed up, right? Are you...

[ "okay" is what he was going to say, but he trails off. ]

she still seems a little bit dazed but her injuries are better than they were? both the lightning and acid burns have faded, and she isn't bleeding or coughing blood anymore.]

week 1, sunday

[once that execution is over, nahida heads to the park to clear her head and comes across kazuki playing guitar for the squirrels (no) (unless..?)]

[ he can have a small squirrel audience, why not. he tenses a bit when he hears someone coming, fingers slowing over the guitar strings, but when he sees it's nahida, he relaxes. ]

Hey. I take it this means it's over already. [ the erasure... ] Are you feeling okay?

week 2, monday

[well...

nahida is out for a walk in the neighborhood! specifically, she is looking at the house up on the hill with curiosity practically coming off of her in waves. she... sort of wants to go in there... just to know what's there...

she looks around to see if anyone is there who might stop her - looking left, and then right - and then pauses when she spots kazuki. briefly, her expression is not unlike that of a child who's been caught with their hand in the cookie jar, but then she smiles.]

Hello, Kazuki.

[ nahida what are you up to. ]

You know there's probably, like, a serial killer living up there, right?

[ sometime after the egg incident kazuki will be slumped on a bench somewhere staring at the sky. ]

We're really going to have to be ready for this every week, huh. As if erasure wasn't bad enough on its own.

[oh, mood. nahida is tired from psych exhaustion, so she will also be sitting on the bench.]

It seems so. I had hoped that last week would be a one-time thing, but...

[ the vibes are so frustrated and sad as we escape the trial. ]

I'm really starting to hate weekends.

I am, as well. [...] I can't imagine who... [her voice trails off.] ...well... no. One of the other archons actually likes the atmosphere of trials... though perhaps they're different from the ones here.

[ where is she? he'll go looking for her later on. his guitar is with him, slung on one shoulder. ]

Nahida. [ today sucked so he's not going to ask how she's doing, but... ] I'm sorry - that we didn't find an answer today.

[ going to find nahida in the new areas! he'll offer her a lil wave. ]

[the new areas i haven't had time to look at yet because work exploded help

anyway she waves back and starts to answer, but then a pig noise appears and it's memshare time. hers lasts until 16:15.

week 4, thursday

anyway nahida comes to find him once everyone's had healing sorted out.]

week 4, sunday

[well that was one hell of an execution.

where's kazuki after that... nahida will go looking for him!!]

[ he'll just be sitting outside the warehouse for now. ]

[ he won't ask how she's doing because everything fucking sucks! ]

week 5, tuesday

[kazuki is probably living in the music store these days, huh? WELL APPARENTLY NOT.

anyway, if he drops by the playground with the swing on tuesday, he'll hear the beginnings of a song coming from the swingset.

should he head over there, he'll find nahida sitting on a swing and playing a vintage lyre. this isn't stealing, it's borrowing; the lyre will go back to the music store once this thread is over she just wanted to get some fresh air while she played.]

[ LISTEN sometimes your trauma response is avoidance it's. fine.

at any rate, he's still a sucker for good music. that will never change. so when he hears those first few notes on his way to the memorial, kazuki decides to follow the sound instead. seeing nahida playing a lyre isn't quite what he expected, but she's very good? good enough to bring a soft smile to his face, as he watches and listens in silence, simply enjoying the music.

it's only when the song finishes that he approaches her properly. ]

I didn't know you could play. [ probably should have guessed, god of wisdom and all. ] It was really good.

w5 friday

[ nahida can probably find him outside the TBD warehouse, sitting on a bench and turning something over in his hands. he'll glance up at nahida on hearing her and give her a little nod of acknowledgement, but it seems like he doesn't have much to say right now. ]

[that's fair and valid. she nods back to him, and then after a moment, she'll take a seat next to him.

...he doesn't have to talk right now. but, she can at least provide him with company for if he does feel up to talking, later.]

w5 saturday

[ he'll find nahida, later in the night. ]

[she's sitting out on the swingset in the japanifornia park]

week 7, monday

[when kazuki focuses and opens up his senses again later, nahida flickers into view in front of him. she's holding an old-fashioned lyre.]

Hehe... hello again.

[ he lights up immediately. ]

Hey, I can actually see you this time. And you found something after all?

[ kazuki, meanwhile, has an acoustic guitar. definitely not his usual. ]

week 7, saturday

[they are... out for a walk! is this before or after the party. i don't know. they are heading to uhhhh i think probably the music store since they said they were going to play together]

...just one more night.

[and then they'll all be leaving here.]

[ he's going to grab an acoustic guitar so they can play. ]

...It really will be weird, going home without being able to see everyone again.
