Honestly, it got a little hard to follow after a while.
[ the instrument thing seemed random to him, but it's just as likely that he wasn't paying close enough attention and he knows it. sometimes you cope by tuning out. ]
You don't really expect it not to happen again, do you? I heard Ruby saying that it always does.
I think it's unlikely that it won't happen... once these things start, they're hard to stop. And we came so close to not catching her today that anyone who thinks they would be smarter about it is probably feeling emboldened right about now.
[she fiddles with the hem of her dress.]
But it would be nice if catching her made someone who was planning to do it next week reconsider. We'll still likely have to participate in trials again before the Game is over, but... the fewer of them, the better.
[ it's not that he disagrees, but... like nahida said, once it starts, it keeps going. it was the same with adonis. kazuki won't hold out hope that they'll have fewer trials. ]
We'll have some catchup to do, either way - they're probably ahead on points now.
When I talked to them last time, they sort of implied there might be hidden missions we coudl do for points, but they couldn't just tell us what they were...
[ weird word choice... but he glances at nahida's clothes and nods. ]
A member of a royal family would be used to something more detailed... They're just meant to be basics, though. Some places with decent accessories might open up later.
[she almost forgot she explained it that way because he seemed like he was really struggling with the idea of a 500 year old god help]
Even regular people in Sumeru tend to wear very elaborate clothing, though... even the simplest designs tend to have plenty of embroidery and accessories. I guess maybe it's just a difference in cultures...
I don't know much about Swedish fashion... In Japan, it's different from your clothes, but we usually wear plenty of accessories, too. I'd show you if I could.
...maybe later on we'll find other shops that have clothing more like what you're accustomed to. If we do, I'd love to learn about clothing from Japan from you.

[...which, in all honesty, ups the chances of some other team doing a murder to try to catch up.]

...I was planning to ask them if there are other tasks we could do - besides stuff like painting the warehouses. There has to be something else.

We still need some actual furniture for the warehouse, but I think they'd understand the tradeoff, if it works out.
