We at least had fewer locations to visit this week than the last. It will help us consolidate any revisiting we need to do, and hopefully make things a little more clear-cut.
[Alphamon has always existed for the highest level of network security. Kyoko Kuremi has always thrown herself into work.
Both know it well.]
Then here is what it really says.
"Normally when Players are erased, they are, for all intents and purposes, gone. Kept around on some frequency, maybe, but less tangible or aware than even folktale ghosts.
Which, of course, means that having them conscious elsewhere is very much not normal Game protocol. Not exactly against the rules, but those running the Game wouldn't be pleased to find out. So, it's important to hide this from them, and to err on the side of caution when discussing anything that seems out of place."
[she looks at the message as kyoko translates it, and nods slowly.]
...so, reversing the letters... that's a very interesting way of disguising a message. [...] We probably shouldn't discuss this too much then, but I'll keep it in mind. Thank you, Kyoko.
Maybe they were worried if it was too complicated, the people they wanted to see it wouldn't be able to figure it out. Since we come from so many places, there's no guarantee that whoever ended up receiving that message would know it, but there's a logical basis to the solution.
It does require you to know the Latin alphabet, and that may not exist throughout every world. There is a library, but you'd have to be somewhat familiar with ciphers.
It's obvious from the structure of the note that it's a cipher of some kind, though. The distribution of the letters isn't quite random enough, and the punctuation...
It would take a little time, but I think most of us could figure it out. Especially if we worked together. But, luckily, you already knew what it was.
