I don’t think they care much about the craftspeople. Then again, most stuff is flat-packed or automated nowadays. It’s only the rich people who buy custom-made pieces on the regular anyway.
Mmhm. Have you read through the "DATA" app? He's an architect. But he's good with interiors, too, so it would be interesting to see what he might do with that kind of a concept.
Got a little bit distracted by everything else, but I had a glance. You think an architect would be into rigid, flat-pack furniture with an instruction manual?
Some of the stuff here’s pretty bulky, for the record. [ he’s just looking at one of the display bedrooms and imagining the size of the flat-pack for that bed. ] Not exactly portable and convenient. You’d need a base to house it, and luck that no one else sneaks in and claims it for their own while you’re out.
Mm, it would be hard to keep track of. And since we don't get housing until we have teams, carrying it around everywhere would be difficult before that happened.
I would hope everyone would realize that panicking won't help matters here, but... it's a concerning situation to be in, so I suppose I can't judge anyone too harshly if they do. Still, they'll need to sort things out for themselves.
I went for a walk through the rest of the city before I came here. But there are some other places I'm going to stop by to examine in more detail once I'm finished here, too.
There's not a lot else to be doing. Looking for an obvious exit didn't work out, and looking for a less obvious one isn't exactly yielding results either.

I don't know if all of this would work for what I'm thinking of, exactly, but the concept of it... it has potential.

[ that was the only communication they’d had so far, wasn’t it? find a team, and do it sharpish. ]
If anyone’s really freaked out about death, they’re going to have to get over it pretty quickly and crack on.

People will panic anyway. Some guy already threw his phone so hard I’m surprised it didn’t break.

...that's unfortunate. It seems like a useful tool, and I'm not sure how anyone would fix it if he did end up damaging it. He should be more careful.

[ will he be? we will find out. ]
Unless we find a phone repair place down an alley, we’re out of luck for the moment if any of them get broken. So, try not to drop yours.

So, you've just been looking around this place? Not much else?

Have you also been looking around?

The big question's "why", then.

Not sure we're going to find the answer by running around aimlessly either.
