A geovishap. They're related to dragons... in fact, with time, they'll evolve into them. Some of them are associated with the different elements, but a lot of them are enhanced by Geo.

They've got longer arms than that one does, though... But the scales, their tails, and the way they stand is similar.

[ a... frown. ] We don't have those where we're from, but a dinosaur's probably the nearest thing. They died out a loooong time ago though. Millions of years.

These look like dangerous creatures. But your world doesn't have a way of manipulating the elements, does it? How did people survive alongside these?

Depends on who you ask. Religious types only believe the world's around two thousand years old. Scientists estimate it more like 4.5 billion years.

They didn't. Humans appeared something like 2 million years ago. These guys-- [ he nods at the dinosaurs ] -- died out about 65 million years ago.

Dunno. I'm not religious. [ he's not exactly scientific either, but y'know. ]

There's a book they base their religion on, and that dates back around 2,000 years I think? Might have something to do with it. Science just by existing proves some of their beliefs wrong, so they don't want to acknowledge it.

But you guys live in the same place as these Geo Vishap things? And you said dragons a moment ago.

There are all sorts of amazing creatures all througout Teyvat. Although, from talking with many of the others here, it seems almost like they're something out of stories in otehr worlds...

... A little. Your vishaps sound like the kind of thing you'd see in a fairy tale or a fantasy series. I'm not sure what else you have though, so I can't make too much of a comparison.

Hehe. Well, maybe if we look around, we can find some exhibits featuring things that look like they're from Sumeru!

They have a Shroomboar... and a Sumpter Beast. I didn't expect that.

Hehe. They developed a type of symbiosis with mushrooms in the forests to provide them with camoflauge from predators.

...um, animal predators, anyway. Humans who go hunting like Shroomboars a lot because you get both meat for a steak and mushrooms for a side dish at once when you catch one...

So they made themselves safer from some predators, and a prime target for others. Clever.

It worked pretty well until people started hunting.
