I have to conclude that it's possible to fake. Not because I don't think that Shu wouldn't ever take any action at all, necessarily, but... I don't think he would do so without telling me. We've talked about what we might do and what clues we might leave behind if it came to that. We had plans for if either of us was targeted or if our hands were forced by one of those calls.
This doesn't fit with that, at all.
So, first and foremost, I want to figure out who carried out the erasures this week. We owe that much to the victims. But... my secondary goal is to find out who is trying to make a target out of Shu, and why. They owe him answers to that question.

we all want the truth, or so we say until that truth is something that'll hurt more than it's worth ...as much as this is gonna suck when we do find the answer, we can't let people hide it or shy away from it try to keep it as fair as possible
not a solid one but the way i see it there's only a few options 1.) four separate teams decided "cool, let's murder!" (least likely) 2.) three separate teams decided "cool, let's murder!" and someone got that call for the fourth body (still unlikely) 3.) two separate teams decided "cool, let's murder!", someone got the call, and someone took out two people (possible?) 4.) someone went out to do an erasure, and got erased themselves while two other people were erased by other teams (very possible given how much overlap we're seeing already) there's other combos but those are the ones i'm thinking about
The first and second ones do feel unlikely, but if the contents of some of the messages from previous weeks have been going around, they're more likely than they would have been a few weeks ago.
But I do feel like the third and forth are the most likely of the two.
