...we won't be able to use "who knew about this message?" to narrow it down. We couldn't to begin with, since we're not supposed to discuss those messages privately, but... if pretty much everyone received something along those lines, anyone potentially had motive to go after him.

I think that most will approach his case as the one that should have happened. So... focus is likely to be on Setsu and Valerie, since they shouldn't have died.

That was still their teammate, but...you might be right that people will prioritize the others because of it.
