[well, here they are out by the barrier in the subways! nahida frowns a little as she finds she can't go any further, then glances up at libby.]

[she smiles, reaching up a hand to tweak one of her own pointy ears.]

Is it because of these? I noticed that most of you have rounder ones.

Right. Not that there's anything wrong with it, or anything, I just - didn't expect it.

[a small pause, brushing back a stray strand of hair.]

Is it - more common where you're from?

Hmm... a little more common. I do still see more people without them than with them, but it's not so rare that most people would be terribly surprise to see them.

[ah, ikea. the perfect place for some retail therapy after talking to the npcs.

...except nahida isn't buying anything. but she is at the food court, eating some strawberry soft-serve.]

It's not you. It's just that we didn't learn as much as we'd hoped. It is disappointing, and it's okay to say so.

How are you doing...? Seems like it's been a long weekend for - well, everyone, but...

...I wouldn't say I'm doing well, exactly, but... better than I could be.

[she sounds like she's trying to describe it objectively. it is, admittedly, difficult to do when objectively it's "shit sucks".]

I think we should probably all be trying to recover our strength tonight.

It's just about what you'd expect, is all.

[dead teammate! and also, that erasure... and pondering what this is going to mean for point totals and how they'll all have to play the game in the future. imagine if no one else did a murder and team yuneyuze won by default because of tutorial trial.]

I wonder if tomorrow will be when we get to see more of the city. We got access to the park and the ... selfie studio on a Monday as well.

[she will go to find libby after the trial has concluded. her emotions are a complicated mess, but - that's hardly unexpected at this point.]

[complicated mess of emotions highfive! hers are mostly comprised of exhaustion, sadness, fear and frustration.]

[there's a pang of concern, at those feelings.]

I want to ask you what your reasons were. I ... want to understand.
