anyway, she is browsing through the exhibits, and has paused in front of one which features... a painting of a man in historical french clothing running away from a horde of bunnies...?

she's reading the plaque beneath it.]

According to this, Napoleon Bonaparte - who from the rest of the exhibit here I've learned was a military commander and a political leader - was once attacked by a horde of rabbits. He had gathered somewhere around a thousand rabbits for a hunt, but when they were released... they all attacked him, instead of running away so that he and his men could hunt them.

He and his men were overwhelmed, and had to retreat to their carriage and run away.

...which is to say, nahida has accumulated a pile of books that is actually larger than she is. she's studying them intently, trying to figure out how she'll be able to carry them all back to her own warehouse.]

It's kinda disorienting, but it's fun to see places from people's homes.

nahida is relieved that vash's team hasn't been targeted, but that doesn't mean she's happy, either. when she comes across him, she offers him a wave and a tired smile.]

W7 : SATURDAY

[ VASH will be at the park memorial where all the crosses used to be. It is now whatever is left after the explosion. There is, however, a new cross with a drawing of a rose on a napkin attached.

yeah, that's fair. nahida's ears droop a little when she comes to find vash by the memorial.]
