nahida is looking out the window of the blimp as best she can (she maybe has to stand on a chair to do it), her phone out, taking pictures of the city below them. she does not have anything to draw a map with, so this is the next best thing.]
[nahida is ... walking around the library with several books in her arms! lambda may feel general vibes of curiosity as she stops to examine various places on the shelves and picks one or two out to add to her pile.
she looks over to her and smiles.]
Hello. Did you also come to see what books they have?
[ lambda's own vibes are faintly curious. libraries aren't foreign to her, but different libraries have different content.
she sees nahida's huge stack, and there's no surprise. ]
I did. If it's a library in another world, I thought it'd have content I wasn't familiar with. Are you going to have a stack taller than you by the end of the day?
[she smiles, and there's a mixture of embarrassment at being called out, but also happiness that someone knows her well enough to call her out. it's just more proof that she isn't as detached from these people as she'd been from much of the world for five hundred or so years.]
There are so many books here that weren't published in Teyvat. I'd like to read them all, although... I'm sure I won't have enough time to.
[she has bailed from the hotel and is searching shibuya for somewhere else to sleep, mainly trying to avoid crowded places and keeping to the shadows of the buildings so she won't get spotted
but at one point she just goes motionless and stares at something straight ahead of her with horror. nothing is there, though. it's just a normal street.]
anyway, after they watch the investigation and find out who's dead, nahida will kind of retreat back from the group because she's still not exactly in a great headspace. she's alternating betwteen looking at her phone and staring at nothing with horror. fun times.
but she's also thinking about what's just happened.
[ it's not so unexpected. lambda thinks about how it will mostly be humans they have to depend on now, and while it's what she's used to, she doesn't like it any more than she ever does. netzach really had to go and die like he always seems like he wanted to.
she'll drift to a stop by nahida once she hears that thought. ]
And what I wanted in the short term probably would have made it harder for us to get the result we wanted in the long term. So I understand why it happened. Netzach and Yuzuriha probably thought the same way.

The views are very pretty from up here...

even if there is nothing more to investigate, it doesn't hurt to see what other people have found or experienced. ]
Did you expect it so soon?

...I thought someone probably would eventually, maybe after a week or two to see how quickly we could earn points without resorting to this.
I didn't think it would be now. And... I didn't think it would be him.

Did that go as expected?

she is also out for a stroll, but it's mostly to help clear her thoughts. at the question, she looks surprised, and then shakes her head.]
No... not quite. There's still so much I don't understand.
